APPEARANCE olive skintone / hair is long (booty length), quite thick and prone to knots, kept up in tails, braids, or a bun, a thin braid on right side that has silver filigree wrapped near the bottom / eyes are a mossy-green and fox-like / scar from forehead to cheek over left eye from being careless in bonding with his familiar / mole beneath corner of left eye / scar from stab wound on right thigh / scattering of moles on his back / usually wears glasses / tattoos: right arm, left ankle / piercings: each lobe (always an onyx stud) three hoops along helix on both
ABILITIES there are two schools of magic/energy in his homeland: light and dark. luka is a dark caster. these energies can be manifested in the forms of weapons as a channel for these energies to flow. raw magic users exist, but is considered highly dangerous and unstable. basically, in order for the energy to flow it has to have a proper channel. as a dark caster his power is amplified at night.
a proper breakdown of powers:
— weapon: is his conduit for his dark magic; two daggers that remain dormant as just regular knives until he pushes his magic through to "power" them up so they get all fancy as pictured
— shadow rush: able to walk through or cloak himself in the shadows to become completely invisible; this can only be used in short bursts (longest is 10 minutes during daytime, 15 during nighttime) for now but as he ages he will be able to hold it for longer
— familiar: are fairly common in the world and the users have to be put through a trial done by the familiar in order to complete the bond; luka's is a black smoke-like fox called dusk (which the fox actually hates)

🌓 PERSONALITY
RESILIANT he's been fighting since a young age, trained in hand-to-hand combat and the use of daggers. he's been trained to take a hit and how to give them in return. due to his desire to always keep going, he doesn't understand how to stay down. also he might be a little too stupid to know when to give up.
FRIENDLY he's the sort to be nice right from the start and sometimes it might make him seem as if he doesn't have any caution whatsoever. (that might be true, but he likes to think he has, like, a sliver.) but, he's nice until he's given a reason not to be. basically everyone begins at friend level with luka.
FAMILY ORIENTED he's very big on the family unit — whether it be blood or found. connections are important to him and there are times when he's more inclined to make decisions (when he slows down to make them) to benefit/help that family unit. also good with children.
NO SELF-PRESERVATION most of the time he thinks he's unstoppable and that has given him the tendency to keep fighting, keep going no matter what. it isn't that he doesn't think he's not important, too, but to him everyone else is more important.
IMPULSIVE this guy does not think before he acts. well, there might be a 2% chance he pauses for a moment to think before going in, but usually, luka is the sort to act first and apologize later. he rushes headfirst into everything without hesitation, whether it be into the fray in a battle or diving off the tallest cliff he can find. he lives life on the edge and loves every second of it with little regard for his own safety.
VACUOUS though there are certain things he's very knowledgable on (hand-to-hand combat, weaponry, childcare, sewing), generally speaking he's kind of empty-headed. common sense only kicks in when he has a few minutes to think about things, and considering his impulsiveness... it isn't that often.
